  • Grant Proposal overview

As your network church, or network hub, pursues making an 'exponential Kingdom impact' - we invite you to use this form to request a financial grant from the Horizon Network Board.  This form will invite you to share the vision around your idea/event, how it aligns with our Network values, the amount of grant support you are seeking, who will be leading the effort, and any other ways the Horizon Network can support you! The grant is only available to Horizon Network churches.

  • Hub Guiding Principles

    Hub Design:

    • Hubs will typically consist of 3 to 7 churches

    • Hubs will typically be represented by lead pastor and meet once a month

    Hub Activities and Values:

    • Mutual encouragement

    • Accountability between pastors and staff

    • Collaboration between pastors, staff, and churches

Alliance church’s within the Horizon Network Hubs are guided by the Horizon Network’s: Guiding Scriptures, Vision, Mission, and Beliefs.

To bring clarity to a Hub’s goal - which is “to facilitate transformation and exponential Kingdom impact.  (to do exponentially more together than what we’re able to do on our own)” (Horizon Network’s vision), Hub’s should work through the following questions:

    1. Vision for our Hub – Why do we exist?

    2. Mission for our Hub - Our Hows & What?

    3. How do we behave? (Mission)

    4. What do we do?

    5. How will we succeed?

  • Ordination

    High Accessibility

The Alliance gets you ordained efficiently, whether you're an emerging leader, a second career pastor, or transferring your ordination.

    A Continuum of Learning

The Alliance promotes holistic development by putting pastors on clear paths toward credentials and lifelong learning.

    High Accountability

The Alliance supports pastors with robust accountability measures and renews ordination status every five years to ensure a high integrity relationship.

    What Is Pathways?

Pathways is the way the Alliance of Reformed Churches credentials its pastors and promotes lifelong learning for all disciples. Pathways isn't a school. Rather, it is a map of competencies related to one's ministry role with pathways for achieving those competencies. Leaders move toward credentials by demonstrating competence in key areas. Along the way, Guides supervise each pastor along customized learning paths. Through Pathways leaders are able pursue Christian maturity in an innovative, contextual way.

  • Partnership Contributions

    ALLIANCE OF REFORMED CHURCHES

Based on the alliance agreement for financial support, churches are expected to contribute 2% of their church income on a monthly/annual basis to the Horizon Network.

The start date of these contributions are to be based on the arrival into the Alliance of Reformed Churches. For instance, once a church decides to join the Alliance of Reformed Churches they are obligated to financial contributions. Once they choose the Horizon Network, they would then direct their 2% accrued contributions to the Horizon Network.

Financial contributions to The Horizon Network go directly back to supporting Exponential Kingdom Impact through leadership development, missional engagement, and multiplication.
